Inline Image

Don't forget to use GoodSearch each time you need to search for something on the web.  The site works just like "Google" only each time you use it, a penny is donated to your chosen charity, Black and Orange Cat Foundation.  You choose us and while a penny might not seem like much, with hundreds of people searching daily, those pennies really add up. Go to www.goodsearch.com  to get started.  You can also download a toolbar to your computer to make it easier to remember to use GoodSearch.  Another neat feature is GoodShop.  You can use GoodShop right from the GoodSearch web site.  GoodShop allows you to find coupons and discounts at more than 1,000 stores.  Each store gives a percentage to your charity when you buy something from them. Stores include PetSmart, Wal-Mart, Target, Barnes and Noble, and many, many more.  If you go to the site, you can find special coupons only available when you GoodShop.  With graduations, Father's Day, and summer weddings, there are many, many opportunities to GoodShop and allow a percentage of your purchase to come back to us!!  Happy Shopping and Searching!!

Third Annual Garage Sale, July 16-19

Inline Image

Our Third Annual Garage Sale is fast approaching. We hold this every year during the Steam Threshers Show in Plain City since it draws a large crowd of people to town.  The Steam Threshers Show will be held from Thursday, July 16 to Sunday, July 19.  Since our Board member, Carol Gaul, lives right beside Pastime Park, where the event is held, she has the garage sale in her yard and garage.  We are currently looking for more items for the garage sale.  If you have anything you would like to donate to our sale, please contact Carol at cgaul1@columbus.rr.com or 614-419-1553. This sale is always a huge money maker for us.  In the past, we have made around $2,000!!  We use all of that to spay and neuter area kitties.  If you have something to donate, we'd appreciate that.  We'd also like to have you mark your calendars to come by and visit us at the garage sale!!  More information in upcoming newsletters as the date approaches.

Featured Kitty for June is Miss Fiona

Inline Image

Fiona, who we often call Fi Fi, is a lover.  She really likes people and her favorite thing to do is throw herself on the floor for a belly rub. She is a bit cool toward other cats, but will put up with them.  She would probably do best either by herself or with one other very laidback kitty who didn't mind her "Diva" status. Fiona, pictured here in her bunny ears at Easter, has long brown hair. She is a gorgeous tabby. When she was found, she had a tuna can stuck to her head, because she was so hungry she was looking for something to eat.  Fiona is about 3-4 years old and is microchipped.  She has also been spayed and is up-to-date on vaccines.  Please read more about Fiona and see other photos at our Petfinder site, www.bandocats.petfinder.com
