September Kitty of the Month: Hamilton

Hamilton and his sisters (who have since been adopted) were thrown out of a van onto busy Hamilton Road (thus, Hamilton's name). Luckily, someone called one of our volunteers about the kittens who had been tossed away like garbage. Hamilton's tail was damaged when he was thrown onto the pavement. He could not lift it and Dr. West decided that it needed to be removed. Hamilton is fully recovered from the trauma and the surgery and is now ready to find his forever home. He is currently in one of our cages at the PetSmart on Sawmill Road if you would like to stop by and see him. ...

August Kitty of the Month: Little Rascal

Little Rascal was a stray who turned up at Board member, Carol Gaul's house. Carol lives next to the park in Plain City, so she often gets cats dumped there who then come looking for food on her porch.

Sadly, Little Rascal is the only survivor of a house fire that destroyed Carol's house and took the lives of her own cats, as well as her other foster, Miss Charlotte. Little Rascal only survived, because he was at PetSmart when the fire occurred. He had replaced Miss Charlotte in the cage at PetSmart just last week or their fortunes would have been reversed.

July Kitties of the Month: Apple Seed and Bean Bag

Apple Seed and Bean Bag are brothers who look exactly alike with their black and white coloring. However, Bean Bag is about half his brother Apple Seed's size. We call Bean Bag the "Mini Me" version of his brother Apple Seed. We think this is due to Bean Bag not receiving enough nourishment while he was still a baby. He will not ever get much bigger in size than a 4 month old kitten (which is what we thought he was when we first found him). ...

June Kitties of the Month: Brothers, Casper and Peanut

Casper and Peanut came to us when a lady called frantic, because she was going to be evicted from her apartment if she did not find a place for the two brothers to go. These are two of the nicest cats you will ever meet. As soon as you sit down, they are both in your lap.

April Kitty of the Month: Miss Mia

Mia and her six kittens were rescued by a very nice lady who we worked with to find homes for the kittens. The kittens have all been with new families since December, but Mom Mia is still looking for her forever home. Mia is still just a baby herself at one to one and a half years old. She is a gorgeous calico with lots of white on her belly.

March Featured Kitty - Albert

Albert is one lucky little guy. A very nice lady contacted us, because she saw him out in all the snow we had a couple of weeks ago scrounging for food. She put some wet food in a carrier and he climbed in and she brought him inside out of the weather. She immediately noticed that he was hurt and so we sent her to Noah's Ark for help...

Three Featured Kitties For December!

Miss Bianca found a wonderful home three years ago, but unfortunately, due to some changes in the household dynamics, she is being picked on by a dominate male. Bianca needs a home where she can be at peace and not worry about being attacked. Bianca is the sweetest girl around. ...

Blue was rescued from a kill shelter right before she was about to die. Because Blue's right eye did not develop correctly as a baby, she was considered "unadoptable." Blue cannot see out of the eye, but she is not handicapped in any way. She gets along just fine and can do anything a cat with two good eyes can do. ...

Miss Bells was named for her silvery color as in "Silver Bells" since she was rescued last year right before Christmas. She is a gorgeous silver tabby. She loves to sleep in her little sheep bed--it is her favorite. Bells is about 2 years old.

Check out these wonderful kitties on our website.
